Locanda le Mandriane

Less than 10 Km from Orbetello!

In “Maremma”, a few kilometres away from the sea, there is B&B Locanda Le Mandriane. The far has been established in the 40s of XX century, and called “Le Mandriane” because of the horse and cow herds (“mandrie”), and the B&B was settled in 2001, after a careful restauration of the original house. Locanda Le Mandriane has double and triple rooms, all with air conditioning, minibar and sat-tv, and a annex-house. Guest can use the common kitchen, the large garden (with playground for the kids). In the farm there are many animals, too.
Due to its favourable location, Le Mandriane will allow its guests to choose among a wide range of excursions and leisure time activities. The seaside is just a few kilometres away: sandshores and nice small rocky coves. The nearby famous Mount argentario headland has beautiful views, turist and fishermen’s harbours, relaxing promenades. From Porto S. Stefano you can reach the islands of Giglio and Giannutri, where interesting scuba divings can be made. In the environs of the B&B there are parks and archeological sites, and you can have beautiful horse-rides in the countryside. A golf courtyard (18 holes) is just a few minutes away, by car. In the nearby town of Saturnia, you can bath in the thermal water pools.
