A medieval mill that was transformed into a charming hotel in 1997, L'ULTIMO MULINO preserves its unique characteristics and it is the perfect getaway in the very heart of the Chianti Classico region... The entrance hall with its 13 dramatic arches is the most obvious eye-catcher, but one can find traces of the past almost everywhere.
The wooden mill axes, the heavy chestnut beams and the fireplace - every detail suggests the best of rural life.
The swimming pool was built where the water reservoir for the mill once was and offers a stunning view over the hills. Guests can enjoy memorable sunsets by the pool, while classical music from the poolside hi-fi provides the acoustic background.
The hotel terrace, equipped with sun umbrellas, tables and chairs is definitely the best place to enjoy a drink of the hotel bar or an aperitif before dinner.
The restaurant in the winter garden is a romantic glass terrace and it has fine dining à la carte and a wine selection including the most renowned wines of Tuscany. The buzzword here is pasta, with chef Francesca's delicious walnut ravioli and handmade "pici".

The rooms at l'Ultimo Mulino are elegant and airy and reflect the rustic ambiance, combined with modern comforts. With their wrought-iron bedheads, exposed chestnut beams and floral arrangements from the hotel's garden, they offer stylish comfort.
A small amphitheatre is situated outside in the particular landscape that occasionally is used for small concerts.
